Webb12 jan. 2024 · My rear wiper has taken on a whole new life of it's own. Comes on when it wants to. Sometimes just a few wipes, but other times runs continuously for a few minutes. I found that the hose for the rear screen wash had come apart. This was pushed back into place.

Webb6 dec. 2001 · 1,245 Posts. #2 · Nov 26, 2001. No that's no right Pete, there is something wrong with it. The rocker switch on the stalk turns the wiper on/off. It is intermittent only. Pressing the button on the end of the stalk activates the washer and gives the rear screen a few wipes. There is no need to operate the front wipwers or washers.
